Our Living Heritage

From its beginnings as a Crown Grant in 1891 to its current role as a community hub, this remarkable building has been witness to over 130 years of Bowraville's history. The Grace family's generous gift to the community in 1975 ensures that this heritage treasure continues to serve future generations.

Today, the Bowraville Community Development Association Inc. (established 2009) continues the legacy of community stewardship, maintaining this historic building as a place where past and present connect, and where the Aboriginal greeting "Giinagaay" welcomes all to be part of our ongoing story.
